Slightly earlier than this time last year, I was in California. True, it was still grey and cold, and I spent 80% of the trip sitting on my grandpa’s couch reading Kushiel’s Dart (shades of Patrick Verona), but I got to eat fresh produce, wear sandals every day, and walk barefoot in the sand. I like having seasons, but I’m ready for this wishy-washy winter to be over. You missed your chance by dithering, winter. Now it’s time to move aside for spring, not time to decide to have snowstorms.
